God with us

Melding into humanity with suffering and joy

God in our loves, in our relationships,

In our everyday, in our work,

In our conscience, our compassion, our grace,

In our outrage at injustice,

In our perception of order and beauty,

In our creativity, our visions,

In our curiosity, our reason,

God in us when we love health and life,

When we’re true to ourselves and others are free to be themselves,

And we know our commonality,

God in us,

God with us,

Emmanuel.
